PRIVACY POLICY

ShotByTony ("we," "us," "our") provides sports, portrait, couples, family, and event photography services in the Bay Area. This page explains what information is collected when you visit shotbytony.photos or book a session with us, and how it's used.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. When you book a session through our Calendly scheduling page, Calendly collects the information you enter there (such as your name, email, phone number, and session details). That information is subject to Calendly's Privacy Policy, not just this one. When you text or call the number listed on this site, that conversation happens through your phone carrier and Apple/Google's standard messaging apps — we don't have a separate system collecting or storing those messages beyond normal phone recordkeeping.
Information collected automatically. This site is hosted on Netlify, which — like virtually all web hosts — automatically logs basic technical information for every visit (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and performance purposes. We do not add any additional analytics or tracking scripts of our own, and we do not use cookies.
Google Fonts. This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Loading these fonts sends your device's IP address to Google's servers, the same as it would for any site using Google Fonts. See Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google handles that.
Photos and Portfolio Use
When you book a session, the resulting photos are delivered to you digitally. Unless you request otherwise in writing before your session, ShotByTony retains the right to use select images from your session for portfolio display on this website, on Instagram (@shotbytony.photos), and in other promotional materials. If you'd prefer your photos not be used this way, let us know before your session and we'll honor that.
If you'd like a previously posted photo of you or your child removed from the portfolio or social media, contact us using the information below and we'll take it down.
Sessions Involving Minors
Many of our clients are student athletes and families with children under 18. For any session involving a minor, a parent or legal guardian must be the one booking the session and providing consent — both for the session itself and for any portfolio/promotional use of the resulting images as described above. If you are a parent or guardian and did not book a session but believe your child was photographed, please contact us directly.
Third-Party Links
This site links out to Calendly, Instagram, and Google (for reviews and directions). Once you leave shotbytony.photos through one of those links, that service's own privacy policy applies, not this one.
Data Retention
Booking information lives in Calendly's systems per their retention policies. Delivered photo galleries are kept for a reasonable period to allow for re-downloads, after which older galleries may be archived or removed.
Your Rights
You can ask us at any time to: tell you what information we have connected to you, remove a photo from public display, or answer questions about how your information is used. Reach out using the contact info below.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change too. Significant changes will be reflected here directly.
